Meet Patrick Hazlewood, who is our fabulous and (not to mention, gorgeous) fashion correspondent who will be bringing us the latest info on fashion shows, events, designers, travel and just about anything chic from here to across the globe!
He is the dynamic founder of B1 Group, a full service event planning, production, and promotions, company based in New York City, with offices in West Palm Beach Florida. He is a born and bred New Yorker who has lived in Middlebury, Vermont (where he received his B.A. in French), Milan, Italy and London, England, where he received his law degree.
As a model with representation internationally, he has made an impression around the world in such countries as France, Italy, and Australia, to name but a few. His combination of professionalism, magnetic personality, and singular physique leaves a lasting impression with all of the clients who have worked with him. He has worked with top photographers in each of these cities and his list of clients includes the likes of Dolce and Gabbana, Byblos, The Prada Group, and Christian Dior. His numerous interests have led to affiliations with an exotic and widespread roster of friends. Patrick is proud to be a committee member for Operation Smile and a regular fundraiser for Toys for Tots. It is this multi-dimensionality that seems to draw people into his aura.
Being a native New Yorker, Patrick’s true sense of New York and its vitality has allowed him to run a successful promotions company for the better part of two years with a variety of clients and venues in New York and South Beach, Miami including actress Joely Fisher, Go nightclub, Studio 54, Guastavinos, Plaid, Rehab, The Sagamore Hotel in South Beach Miami, Resort Palm Beach and East Hampton, and Sony Pictures, to name but a few.
While his promoting continued to grow and prosper, Patrick felt there was more that he wanted to do in this area. Fast forward to the summer of 2003. With an eye towards advancement and growth, Bacchus One was conceived. Bacchus was the Greek God of wine and revelry and when considering names, Patrick thought this to be an appropriate moniker for a company that was occupied equally with event planning and production, as with promotions. Out of Bacchus One grew B1 Group which is the umbrella company incorporating all of the various services available. B1 Group takes as its goal the creation of superb and sexy events for clients, regardless of size and/or scale of the budget. It is a full-service company which is in the process of expanding its client base nationally, and soon thereafter, internationally (especially in England and Australia). Modeling has and continues to take Patrick around the world and the exposure to various cultures and locations is reflected in his events, which incorporate these experiences and flavour. His events never fail to surprise and impress.
Keep an eye out for Patrick’s latest travels and posts from around the world!
